Poetry Slam 2010, coming to a living room near you.
It’s that time again, time to start thinking about what you will memorize for this years’ big birthday event. This year there are rules. Last year was lovely, thanks to all who made the effort to memorize something for my birthday. This year I want something new, something you didn’t already have memorized. It can be scriptures (refer to last sentence here). It doesn’t need to be something that you think I want to hear. Rather let it be something that you want to learn. Remember, when you do this you give yourself a gift as well.
The next rule is participation is encouraged but not required. If someone doesn’t want to do it, fine, I won’t be offended, but then you must purchase an exquisite gift for me (kidding).
Those are the rules. Short and sweet.
